This policy explains what Hot Mic collects, how we use it, and who we share it with.
What we collect
- Account & contact — your email and any contact details you or your league members provide for delivery.
- League data — read-only data from your connected platform (Sleeper, ESPN, or Yahoo): league settings, rosters, matchups, scores, and transactions.
- Your inputs — the league bible: nicknames, locations, inside jokes, and lore you choose to add.
- Payment — handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation and metadata, not your full card number.
- Usage — basic analytics about how the Service is used, to improve it.
How we use it
We use your data to generate and deliver your episodes, operate billing, provide support, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We share data with vendors who help run the Service, including:
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- Anthropic — script generation (Claude).
- ElevenLabs — voice synthesis.
- Replicate — music and image generation.
- Sleeper / ESPN / Yahoo — read-only league data.
- Resend — email delivery.
- Hosting and database providers (Vercel, Neon) to operate the Service.
Some platforms limit how long their data may be retained; where required, we fetch league scores and rosters at generation time rather than storing them long-term.
Retention & your choices
We keep your account, the league bible you write, and generated episodes while your subscription is active and for up to 90 days after it ends, after which we delete or anonymize them. League member contact details you add are used only to deliver episodes and are removed when you delete the league or on request. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time — email privacy@hotmicffl.comand we’ll action it promptly. You can cancel and disconnect a league at any time.
Cookies & analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage (page views, referrers, and general device type) so we can improve the Service. It is privacy-friendly and does not use tracking cookies or build advertising profiles of you. We do not sell your data or use third-party advertising trackers.
Accessibility
We aim to make Hot Mic usable for everyone and follow recognized accessibility practices (WCAG 2.1 AA as a target). If you encounter a barrier, email privacy@hotmicffl.comand we’ll work to fix it.
Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.
